Brittani Parkinson2024-02-25We come to St. George once a year and aways make a point to come to the Stagecoach grill for dinner at least once while we are here, but we have been know to come more that one night, best food! Great atmosphere!Gerard Belli2024-02-24These are the nicest people. They made a mistake on my food but we’re so nice and apologetic. They were gonna take the item off the bill but instead have us everything for free. I recommend this place highly.C.C. Will go again!R Canatella2024-02-17We tried this place while passing through town. We were greeted at the door and seated right away. Our server got our drink order and for an appetizer we tried Maryland Crab Cakes which were just fantastic. I ordered the Kamas Canyon Filet Mignon which was cooked to perfection and very tender. My partner ordered the Cowboy Ribeye which was also cooked perfectly and was so tasty. The inside of restaurant has some great decorations and memorabilia. They have some games like checkers and just a fantastic vibe. You could tell the employees really enjoyed working at the restaurant. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. They also have burgers and pasta dishes available. They have a full bar so can make most cocktails and have some signature cocktails available. They have a wine list with a few good choices. We will return when back in the area again.merril campbell2024-02-17Great food
JerryB2024-02-24The food was good but it certainly wasn't the most excellent steak I've ever had for the price. The dining experience was nice but it was very loud in the outer room. The restaurant was pretty full. Overall it's a good place to go while in the area but it can be a little pricey depending on what you order.LyleB2024-02-23Very personable staff, good presentation of food, food was delicious. This was our anniversary of 56 years and the waitress and staff were so very kind. Food was prepared to our specification. We have been to a lot of restaurant and I could not have found better foot and people. Go to the Stagecoach Grill in Laverkin, Utah you will be delighted.DonaldM2024-02-21We came to Stagecoach for Valentines Day. We had been previous guests. Our server, David, was just wonderful, as is the staff. We are always treated well. We had the shrimp cocktail appetizer which was outstanding. Now, my filet was a “5”. None better. A little pricey but the size and quality were “tops”. Disappointing was my wife’s prime rib. It was huge, in size, but a rather “tough” piece of meat. She wanted it done rare and it was medium, at best, with a 1 inch deep outer edge well done. I think it would have been nice if the management would have given each female guest a rose for Valentines Day. I will say that we will return. We like the restaurant and staff very much. ❤️SteveS2024-02-15Great Place. The Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly and the shrimp / crab add on was very good2024-02-02Tired of trying to find something decent in Springdale we were delighted to find real food and excellent steaks in a classic saloon type setting with impeccable service.MilkDud2024-01-21We went for breakfast and loved it so much that we ordered more food to go for lunch!
Gabriela M.2024-02-24I made reservations for a group of 8 on a Friday night. We were accommodated upon arrival. Plenty of parking, welcoming and cute outdoor seating while you wait. It was a busy and lively night. But nonetheless we were seated within 15 mins of arrival. I ordered the ahi sashimi tuna plate, it came with sautéed vegetables which were so good! I paired it with a glass of Merlot. They have a great wine menu. They also offer mix drinks. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Overall, it was a great place to have dinner. It does get busy, so I highly recommend making reservations or calling ahead of time.Robert P.2024-02-14Felt like we were local regular customers from the moment we entered. Service was great and knowledgeable. My wife and I had a tomahawk deal and it all was excellent. Others in our party had the pork chop and Marsala and both enjoyed their meal. Overall wonderful dinning experience. Staff handled my wife celiac disease perfectly. Plenty of options for gluten free. No issuesKerry S.2024-02-14First the service, got seated right away, but we did come on a Tuesday at 6. Kristina was our server, she was fantastic! So nice and informative being out first time there. We both ordered the "Chicken Fried Steak" on the recommendation of another blogger. And they were right! The real deal, no pre frozen meal here! Before the meal I did opt for a house salad with Bacon Vinaigrette dressing, I know what my favorite dressing is now! The restaurant is an ole cowboy themed establishment, the ambiance was nice! Before the sun went down, they lit a fire out front which was pretty cool! I can say, we will be back! Only negative was the price, BUT the portions were huge, so actually, not that bad.Tonya W.2024-02-12Nice place to go for good food, fast service and fun atmosphere. I love that you can make a reservationDavid H.2024-02-11The Stage Coach Grille came recommended from my customer in Hurricane. They serve Creekstone beef and very proud of that. They love to show off their 48oz Tomahawk steak. It is quite impressive. Their daily specials are just highlighted versions of items on their regular menu. The Tomahawk always shows as MP. Kristina was our waitress and provided excellent service and conversation. To start, my colleague and I shared Jalapeno Poppers. It was a huge appetizer. Full size peppers baked with a seasoned sour cream/cream cheese type filling while lightly breaded. My colleague ordered the Ahi Salad. When asked between the Ahi Salad and Ahi dinner, we chose the salad, yet the price was the same at $32. I ordered the Maryland Crab Cakes. If you know what Maryland Crab Cakes taste like, I suggest not ordering these. While it wasn't totally loaded with filler, the crabmeat was not lump. It was crabmeat like you'd get from a tuna can. I also ordered a garden salad, but it was brought out almost after I finished the crab cakes so I turned it back. For dessert, we shared a Strawberry Panna Cotta. I highly recommend. Very tasty with a nice flower fluted strawberry on top. The atmosphere seems a bit touristy, but the staff and food make it seem like a favorite for locals as well.Heather B.2024-02-11Great food! Ambiance country themed which I love, but customer service excellent! We've been there many times, but this review is after Pigs Ear in Hurricane customer service sent us away. We had a much more enjoyable time at lunch here!
Dan B2024-01-30Great food Great food and wonderful service. Rustic seating and western decor. Local beef was excellent. Specials are the best. Highly recommended.Pam P2023-12-26Very Nice Very nice atmosphere and staff very friendly. Chicken Marsella was very good, shrimp cocktail was fabulous. Easy take out.David S2023-11-12Smoked ribelicious! Awesome. Our waiter was super. Knowledgeable , friendly… great at his job! Food was excellent. The smoked ribs were meaty, plentiful and had a delicious sauce. I also could believe how fast the food came. The local amber ale was really good.Robert I2023-10-22OUTSTANDING RESTAURANT WITH OUTSTANDING MANAGEMENT & STAFF ! In point-of-fact, we ate two meals a day at the Stage Coach Grille, and only the fact that we had imminent airline reservations...kept us from staying through Christmas ! We're from northern California's 'Bay Area', and we have nothing to match this 5-star experience. Jimmy Stover - a grand manager and Renaissance Man if ever there was one, and Chuck-our wait staff member ...gave us the best treatment we've received since we literally cannot remember when. We're not family, but we were treated as family, and we will always be grateful...and humbled. Now...for the food: breakfast (not offered every day, darn it) was as good as any, anywhere. Lunch and dinner...were BETTER than offered anywhere. As stated at the beginning, we are part of a large megalopolis of millions of people, but food like this (plain American comfort food, hot, and flavorful) no longer can be found in San Francisco's suburbs...or San Francisco, itself. The only time we stopped shoveling food down our gullets was when we were lost in conversation with Jimmy or Chuck. That is compliment of the highest order. We had no complaints about a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g...since multiple experiences on different days had n-o-t-h-i-n-g wrong or left wanting. We commend the Stage Coach Grille...to the Heavens, above, and urge the reader to go there, and partake of whatever your heart desires..., but go before the lines of locals start to form...to maximize your pleasure. Thank you management and staff for the EXCEPTIONAL hospitality and first-class food; you could not have done any better. P.S. We will return...for a host of reasons...including Mr. Stover's pledge to open up for Christmas...just for us..., and my reciprocal promise to bring presents for every member of the restaurant staff.amazonflash2023-10-16The most popular place in La Verkin for good reason. This is a very busy place for good reason! We had to wait half an hour (though they predicted 45 minutes) for a table, so best to book in advance. Outside is a model stagecoach by the large car park. The building is old fashioned inside. There is a wonderful atmosphere here and everyone smiles. The food is excellent and comes in huge portions. Enjoy!puppygirl142023-10-11Definitely recommend Fried chicken & chicken fried steak were amazing! Prompt & friendly service, fresh veggies. Fried zucchini was yummy! Too full for dessert.Micheller04052023-09-13WOW! We were heading to Zion from St George airport. We were starving! We decided to stop and check it out for dinner. Atmosphere was amazing! Service impeccable! And food was out of this world! My son said his burger was the best he ever had! Great beer selection too.Linzi F2023-09-10Seriously good home cooked food and great staff. Seriously great food and friendly staff I had the beef pot roast. It was superb. Topped off with strawberry cheesecake! Amazingly good. And a fabulous G and T. Thank you! Great place. Loved it.
The Stage Coach Grille serves the highest quality, made-from-scratch menu items. Quality is never compromised. We’re strong believers in breaking away from the mundane, bean counting, portion control restaurants that have become the American standard.
The Stage Coach Grille is an old-fashioned, slowly cooked, fresh ingredients, type of restaurant and steakhouse located just a few miles west of Zion National Park in LaVerkin. New owners, Benito and Dania, invite you to make a reservation and see for yourself that the Stage Coach Grille is the best full-service restaurant in the valley.
